Spirits of Taylor Event 9/4-9/6

The Smithsonian’s “Spark!” exhibit is in Taylor from August 15th through September 27th, 2026! It focuses on innovation in rural towns. The exhibit is in the newly renovated Heidenheimer Building on East 1st St in historic downtown Taylor.

In support of the exhibit, we have an exciting event of our own. Book your two-night stay on Labor Day weekend, September 4th and 5th. Friday, September 4th: you will take part in a cocktail-making class at 1922 Libations & Bites at Old Taylor High. Saturday, you can check out the exhibit and grab some legendary barbecue or shop for antiquest. Then you’ll join an open-container walking ghost tour in downtown Taylor!
